They should all complement each other, not directly compete with each other. It is my goal to find great businesses to locate there that will truly enhance our community. Prince George Street is a wonderful vibrant street with visitors to the area, students and year round residents that enjoy it. Prince George Street is the host to many special events such as An Occasion for the Arts and Second Sundays, just to name two. With new office being built across the street one can only expect that local foot traffic will increase. Bringing something fresh, new and different to the street is important to me and ultimately to the long term vibrancy of our community. I will ask prospective tenants to complete a brief questionnaire about what they plan to bring to the Prince George Street, including a general list of menu items, how much they anticipate the build out will cost, evidence that they have access to the funds to do any necessary build out, and get started and the time frame they plan to have decisions made by.
