501 Prince George Street - The Point Retail

Welcome to "The Point" at 501 Prince George Street— visible from 3 sides with great foot traffic and includes indoor and outdoor seating.  This standout corner location is bursting with potential. The space is most recently utilized as the Corner Barkery with menu items derived primarily from the Hounds Tale.  While it does not have a hood the space currently it has a great walk-up window, a food prep station, and bar with lots of great outdoor seating.  With great visibility and a flexible layout, this space is the perfect canvas for your next big idea. It would be great for a small market and or quick food items such as tacos, quesadillas crepes, subs, gourmet sandwiches, smoothies, intoxicating milkshakes, a wine-tasting room, etc. There is not a hood in this location and it may be cost prohibitive to install one due to the unique layout.  Countertop appliances such as air fryers, warming tables and devices that do not need a hood will likely be important. Click here to explore some ventless cooking solutions.  All it takes is a little vision and hard work to turn this opportunity into something exceptional that really adds people to our downtown.  Don’t miss your chance to make your mark at The Point!

  • Leasing Information

Thank you for your interest in leasing 501 or 515 Prince George Street. I have three spaces that can be rented separate or jointly. They should all complement each other, not directly compete with each other. It is my goal to find great businesses to locate there that will truly enhance our community. Prince George Street is a wonderful vibrant street with visitors to the area, students and year round residents that enjoy it. Prince George Street is the host to many special events such as An Occasion for the Arts and Second Sundays, just to name two. My desire is that the business be something special that that draws people to the area, not one that just enjoys the already great foot traffic and cuts into other existing businesses. With new office being built across the street one can only expect that local foot traffic will increase. Bringing something fresh, new and different to the street is important to me and ultimately to the long term vibrancy of our community. I will ask prospective tenants to complete a brief questionnaire about what they plan to bring to the Prince George Street, including a general list of menu items, how much they anticipate the build out will cost, evidence that they have access to the funds to do any necessary build out, and get started and the time frame they plan to have decisions made by. Information provided to me will remain confidential. I look forward to exploring this great opportunity with you.
